Rox,

You walked in front of me, when I needed someone to follow
You walked behind me, pushing me forward, when I felt I couldn't go on
You walked beside me, when I needed someone to lean on

And when my heart and soul were laid bare,
your friendship surrounded me.

The bestest friend, the wind beneath my wings.

The most gentlest, strongest, kindest and the best.
A wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend.

So missed, every day.

My Rox

I was looking down from heaven
On that day there was no light
Your tears that flowed so freely
Shone brightly in my sight

The words I begged for you to hear
Could not break through your pain
I was trying to reassure you
That we'd be together again

Although you cannot see me now
in the form that I once was
You must know that I'm happy here
Surrounded by God's love

I pray these words will let you know
That heaven truly exists
There are no earthly human words
which can describe such wondrous bliss

God's arms are wrapped around me now
While I listen to angels sing
There's not a moment that passes by
that I don't want you to cry

My special wish is for you to know
that I'm safe and free from harm
Remember the message that I bring
One day we'll be together again
and wrapped in each others arms

This is for Joanne. I lost my Grandma to breast cancer 2 1/2 years ago, and the pain still remains, so I know how much pain this horrible thing causes so many people. Stay strong for Joanne, that's what she'd want xxx

Another brave woman..

I have had breast cancer twice, our family has the BACRA2 gene.. my mum and her 3 sisters died due to cancer...

Reading this tribute for Joanne has brought me to tears.... tears for a young and vibrant woman who should be here today... Joanne will be in my thoughts... and I will add her to my list of courageous women for whom I will dedicate the book I am writing.

Be at peace xxx

Dear Sue...

I'm so sorry for your loss. To lose Joanne at such a young age is a tragedy.

Thank you for creating this tribute and warning women to check their breasts. I lost my mom to breast cancer in 2005 and I'm trying to spread the same message. It's so important that women receive treatment as quickly as possible.

I will light a candle in memory of Joanne xx
